RasGas is engaged in the business of production and sale of Liquefied Natural Gas and related hydrocarbon products. At present, the company operates a five-train onshore facility at Ras Laffan, which is about 80 km North of the capital city;Doha, in the state of Qatar.
The Company, as part of its expansion programme, is currently building further production facilities both onshore and offshore and seeks highly skilled person for following positions:
Production Engineering specialist
Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering, together with a minimum of 10+ years of varied experience in the energy industry/production related experience in petrochemical industries in a technical or commercial position. Professional qualifications in the areas of Operations integrity Management,/ISO 14001/Process Engineering and Operations Managements-would be an added advantage. Previous exposure to shutdown Management as team leader/coordinator is a requirement.
Candidates must have good interpersonal skill and ability to work with and lead a team of individuals both from inside and outside the department as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and adapt to rapidly changing priorities, attention to details and concern for accuracy and completeness in work products is a must.
Operations Integrited Management systems or Co-ordinator
The incumbent will be responsible for the co-ordination of continuous improvement activities
Identified during both internal and external audits as per ISO and OSHAS requirements. They will proactively highlight the deviations to standard procedures and / or non compliance to the existing system and co-ordinate the corrective action implication, co-ordinate with the Training Section to maintain up-to-date competency records of Operators.
Applicants should have a minimum of a diploma in Engineering from a recognized University or certification in Technical Writing with process plant experience, together with at least 5 years experience in Technical Writing in Petrochemicals or Oil & Gas or process industry. For this role candidates must have excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Panel/ Senior and Field Operators
Working as part of a team these position are responsible for the day to day operation of RasGas Onshore Gas Processing Operations, in a safe reliable and environmentally sound manner.
Applicants should have a minimum of secondary education with at least 5 years experience LNG, or LPG, Gas Processing, Sulphur Recovery, Refinery or a similar process environment together with a mechanical aptitude and a basic knowledge of process instrumentation and DCS operations.
Panel/Senior Field Helium Plant Operations
Working as part of a team these positions are responsible for the day to day operation of RasGAs Helium Recovery Plant, in a safe reliable and environmentally sound manner.
Applicants should have a minimum of secondary education with at least 5 years experience in Liquid Helium, or Liquid Oxygen/Nitrogen plant or a similar process environment together with a mechanical aptitude and a basic knowledge of process instrumentation and DCS operations. These roles are offered on a Residential Basic in Qatar and offer attractive tax free salaries and benefits including, free accommodation with furniture allowance, educational assistance for up to 4 children, annual home leave tickets and full medical insurance for dependent family.
Shift Supervisor
This position leads a team of 20/30 people to meet the day to day requirements of the job. The incumbent will provide functional leadership for the safe, reliable and environmentally. Sound optimized operation of RasGas onshore gas processing facilities.
Applicants must have at least a technicians Certificate in a relate engineering discipline and at least 7 years experience in LNG,LPG,Gas Treatment, or Sulphur Recovery processing plants, of which a minimum of 3 years must have been in a similar role.
These roles are offered on a rotational basis to support our new Assets and offer an attractive tax free salary and outstanding benefits.
